Hi, I’m Lila Almog,

In the past 9 years I’ve been living and breathing Tokyo: the main streets and side alleys, the abundance of colors and layers of minimalism, the everyday sights and those that are sacred and rare, the faces, sounds and nuances that create its magic.

I moved here from Tel-Aviv for a limited period of time which kept stretching further and further till it became life itself, a life of a local foreigner who continues to fall in love with Tokyo every single day and discover it in an ongoing dialogue.

During this time, I’ve been wandering the city, capturing pieces of life in photos and creating my own puzzle of Tokyo.

MISSTOKYO is an intimate collection of these photographs. These are pieces of my Tokyo. They belong to the city, to me, and now can be yours too.
